An Introduction to Vivenene Sharman-Lewis

Hi, I’m Vivienne Sharman-Lewis, your local Prestige Property Expert for Herefordshire.

I’m fortunate to live in the heart of the beautiful Golden Valley with my partner and our two cocker spaniels, where I love exploring the woods, fields and countryside around us — and it’s this connection to the area, along with my own experience of moving throughout my life, that has given me a real appreciation of how important the right home and the right location can be.

My passion for property began in Tenerife, where I worked for two British estate agencies and sold holiday homes. I quickly discovered how much I enjoyed helping people find a property that matched not only their practical needs, but the lifestyle they wanted to create.

Whether buying a first home, establishing a family, changing direction in later life or looking forward to retirement, I believe a home should support the life you want to live.

That understanding comes partly from my own journey. I moved to Leicester for university, where I trained as an illustrator, designer and visualiser, before my career took me to London. There, a growing interest in health and fitness led me in a completely new direction. After retraining, I returned to Wales and launched my first business.

My career subsequently took me to Berkshire, where I created and ran the UK's first pilot GP Referral scheme, promoting both the initiative and the health and fitness facility through local media and radio. I later returned to Wales as a Sales and Marketing Manager before moving to Tenerife, where I developed my experience in tourism, property sales and business development.

My career has always combined people, communication, marketing and sales. I went on to become Sales and Marketing Manager for a telecommunications business, which I franchised, before buying, developing, marketing and ultimately selling my own health club.

Alongside running the club, I continued to write and promote businesses through magazines and newspapers. I was even invited to cover a Global Warming conference in Fuerteventura, where I interviewed a NASA astronaut and a Nobel Prize-winning Swiss scientist — experiences that certainly added an unexpected dimension to my career!

Returning to the UK in 2008 for family reasons, I spent the following decade running my own marketing, promotions and events business. In 2018/19, I stepped back from the business to care for my mother at home during the final two years of her life.

Then, just as I was preparing the official launch of an annual arts festival, the pandemic arrived. Like so many people, I experienced first-hand how dramatically our relationship with our homes and surroundings could change. Our homes became places of work, sanctuary, connection and security, while many people began to reassess where — and how — they wanted to live.

It reinforced something I had already come to understand through years of moving, working and meeting people: where you live can have a profound influence on how you live.

Today, I bring together my diverse experience in property, sales, marketing, journalism, events and business, along with a genuine love of Herefordshire and its beautiful countryside.

For me, property is about much more than bricks and mortar. It’s about listening carefully, understanding what matters to you, and helping you take the next step towards a home and lifestyle that truly feels right for you.
